I actually use these for my LEGO and other building block sets to light up the LED kits that I have installed in several of them. Since most of the kits end in a USB plug, these work perfectly to light up several sets at once.

They are AC powered but can run off of USB 3.0 for extended portability and travel needs. I am extremely impressed with the quality and reliability of these products and highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a USB hub.

While I would have liked a higher speed port, I made the choice to go cheaper on the slower one and I don't regret it. Convenient and simply what I needed, since not every port needs higher speeds. Easy move to make, all things considered.

It is great for expanding the number of usable ports on any system. Being powered, it will properly charge Cell Phones and other USB Devices. The supplied power cord 'may' be a little short, and 'may' need a two prong extension cord depending on outlet location, or surge strip location.

It works wonderfully, and charges all my devices pronto. You can power it with it’s included adaptor, or USB. Either or works! With that said it’s solid. I very much enjoy using it. Thanks Best Buy.
