Mystery hub headache. Not nearly essential

Why? Who knows. In other words it was not "plug and play" (more like unplug and return). Decided to continue using basic splitters which have worked fine for past 11 years anyway. No wall jack/cord to mess with either. Could have been "User-error" but this user didn't want to waste hours of his life trying to get it to work.
