Understand before you purchase that this is a USB 2.0 hub. It does NOT meet the USB 3.0 standard, so certain accessories might not work with it. That stated, it's a great compact expansion block for laptops or docks that don't have enough native USB ports to connect your peripherals. The size is perfect for travel, and power is optional if the cumulative power requirements for your peripherals isn't above what's supplied from your device.

Bought because I had multiple devices that needed to be used. I am totally satisfied with my purchase.

I bought this to replace a Sabrent 13-port hub on which only about half of the ports worked. This on the other hand, while having fewer ports, works fantastically! I have not had any issues whatsoever! Also, due to the design of this hub, you could stack a bunch on top of each other if you need to do so (my Sabrent hub's ports faced upward). If you need a USB 2.0 hub, this is a great one! I also have Best Buy's house brand USB 3.0 hub, which also works wonderfully. In fact, it can provide a faster connection than my PC case's built-in USB 3.0 ports.

This was just what I was needing for added those drives, printers, etc. Great for adding peripherals!!

Didn’t realize how many ports I would need lol this has been extremely useful for my music production.

I host a monthly lightsaber class and this allows me to charge seven lightsabers at once to prep for the class.

As more and more accessories are getting away from using traditional electric extension cords and going to computer type plugins, this tool can be very helpful, especially when traveling. Depending on the type of plugs, it can be used for phones, iPads, hearing aids, etc, and charge them all at once, from just one traditional outlet.

This is so helpful for all the times I want to use more USB items than my computer has ports for. I don't notice a lag or anything, and it seems to be a solid connection.

Great price. Using it to charge everything in one place. Cool little feature i didn't know until opening the box, you can use it to add ports to the computer too. Now i have like 23 ports lol

Perfect size. Needed something just to connect to the wall to power some of my USB devices, like LEDs and a desk lamp due to limited USB ports on my PC. Even charges my phone fine.
