It just doesnt do any of the motion fully. You don’t have great range of motion or distance from the wall. It’s literally “you get what you pay for”. If you want the full motion mount experience get a Sanus.

Buy a different bracket

We had this installed by geek squad and when asked about a missing screw to hold tv on bracket was told it was missing. This will have to be stationary because when you try to move it is no longer level and is not smooth movement like some of my other brackets. Would not recommend.

At a 3/4" noticeable difference, I had to change out the mount due to it being defective. The TV and mount was originally installed by a BB contractor. It was straight in the beginning. Having Total Tech membership, BB sent an installer to fix the mount. They tried but part of the mount was not working. Replaced with a Sanus mount.

So if you don’t install an item like this one right away, and then you need to return, you’re out of luck. Won’t be buying things at BB anymore. Will buy from other retailers that allow a 30 or 90 day return time frame.
