My TV is affixed to the wall and I eventually got it more or less centered how I wanted. The unit is limited in mobility. It has to be hung on studs which is not centered on my wall. It took me a long time to get the until to retract and center the tv on my wall. Hanging the TV on the unit is not confidence inspiring. Considering I’m hanging an expensive TV I’d like a little more assurance that the TV is firmly in place, especially since I had to hang it a bit off center to make up for how had to place the unit with the studs. If I had it to do over I would go in a different direction.

We used bigger wall anchors than what came with the mount and it still would not level. In the end, my husband drilled through the metal plate directly into a wood stud so the TV would keep from leaning.
