We tried to center the mount on the wall, but it would only tap into 1 stud. We had to take it back. If it were 4" wider, we would have been able to use it.

Mine came crooked and all the tension screws were loose so the tv constantly drifted until I got it tensioned. It’s base is also extremely short, so if your studs aren’t exactly centered where you want, it may not line up correctly.

Limited mount area to stud locations.

You do not have any leeway due to the size of the bracket and where your studs land if you are trying to center a T.V. on a wall. In my case I was limited in placement area so it rendered the mount useless and I stuck with what I had existing.

Make sure your studs are 16" center to center!

It comes straight out and you can slightly tip it downward but not much. Very disappointed. The one we just removed was so much better. If straight out works for you then you might like but no what I wanted. Plus you can't adjust it on the wall to center it if your studs aren't centered.
