They recommended another model that was $30 more that they just happened to have in the van. I guess the question is if this model is so bad that the installers won’t use it why does Best Buy carry it?

Instead of Geek Squad the contract was given to a 3rd party whose team came twice to install with wrong mount and rudely left without completing the job. Worst experience in more than 25 years dealing with Best Buy. Senior management s/take action before start losing loyal customers.

Not a very good mount. If the tv would stay in one place it would be 5 stars for sure.

It gets the job done but don’t feel wow’s but I’d say it does feel adequate. Wouldn’t use this mount on a tv that worth $1000 or more. Cheap mounts use on cheap tv’s

It is about average as far as installation, but when it comes to using it, it is awful! If you never want to adjust or reposition your tv, you’ll love it. But I bought it because of the range of motion. It is not easy to use, takes multiple people, and always makes me feel like I’m going to break my tv.

However, the TV mounting was delayed and by the time the contractor was ready to use it, the refund/return period had expired. When he opened the box, the 2 vertical arms to attach the TV to the bracket were missing. I wound up having to purchase another bracket from Home Depot for more money. What a waste!

Didn’t work well for my 82”

I ended up using the mount I was using for my 60”. I have the 60” TV to my mother and used this mount for it and worked great.
