It is very sturdy. To properly install on Hardy board/metal 2x4"stud walls, automotive mounting tape, and 3/16" 5"long carriage bolts achieved its maximum load potential of >100 pounds.

First of all its it is made of solid metal with nice bushings to allow for motion. It is very solid and I don't see any way it could fall off, unless improperly used or mounted. The only thing that could be improved would be the mounting hardware for the wall. They should use a better quality fastener. I opted to use my own fasteners to slove this minor issue. I recommend this unit highly.

Outstanding Wall Mount

We even had to adhere it to a piece of wood to the wall to even it out due to stud finding accommodations. But the product is sturdy and extremely malleable. I will purchase a duplicate of this product when I acquire another 65-inch TV.

Great product for it price

However its a little on the bulky side. My tv sit roughly 3.5" away from the wall when fully retracted. Another issue i had was that after installing even though the bracket on the wall was perfectly level, when I hung the tv and extended the arms it was pretty crooked. It took some frustrating tinkering to get it right especially since the manual isnt very helpful but i did manage to get it corrected. Still for this price i really have no complaints

I watch TV while I am cooking and this makes it easy for me to see the TW instead of it being flat on the wall. Definitely worth the extra $$$.
