Excellent for the price, extremely sturdy

The only drawback is that the stiffening plates are fairly solid, so running cables to the back of the TV can be a challenge if you don’t connect them to the TV first, and then fish through the holes.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced a very basic and old Sanus BLL2 A/V mount that didn't let me pull TV away from wall at all, but it did let me physically "slide TV side-to-side for perfect positioning" to get correct adjustment. I failed to notice that you cannot do that with this Best Buy Essentials. The only way to move it more to the right or left is to extend it away from the wall and leave it away from the wall, which will not work for us. I will toss this aside and grab another unit that also allows a side to side movement.
