So much so that it has caused damage to my screen. I also bought the TV from BestBuy at the same time. BestBuy won't deal with me because I am outside the return window and the Televison manufacturer will not repair or replace because it is "physical damage". Resistance is too high left to right and in and out, but way too low up and down so the TV also keeps dropping and pointing toward the floor. I purchased the TV and mount in May. By August I was left with a useless mount on the wall and a broken TV. BestBuy says it is not their responsibility and told me to contact Toshiba. And after weeks of back and forth, I am told today by Toshiba it is not their responsibility.

It was fine for my 48-inch TV but I ended up taking the 65-inch TV down as it looked unstable and seemed to lean/hang forward from the weight. I would recommend this Mount for the smaller TVs but wish I had looked for something sturdier for my larger TV
