My home was build in the the 70s and my studs are 24" apart so I could not use this wall mount.

In addition I realized it didn't adjust the rotation up and down so I ended up returning.

Not sturdy enough

I went back to best buy and returned jt and got a better one which was alot lighter and works perfectly now

But it was smooth sailing after getting started. It feels nice sturdy and secure after we got done mount in and the tv on the wall
