Great mount for the $, lock needs improvementnr

It is sturdy and well-made, and it operates smoothly, providing swivel, tilt and extension. It's the best value going. It does have one notable flaw: the locking mechanism is junk. It's a couple of very long, skinny screws that are supposed to clamp on the mount. Instead, they bend and go cockeyed rather than pressing. They don't grip tight enough to prevent movement of the TV (with gouging of the finish on the mount) during normal adjustment. Another thing to watch out for is that the drilling template tents on the wall because of the way it is folded. The result is that the marks are too close together vertically on one side. Tolerance is tight, and I could barely fit the lag screws. There should be no folds along the long dimension of the mount - a simple detail that could be improved. Until that happens, be extra careful that the template lies flat.

Easy to install but there is a limit range of where on your wall you can install the mount. It looks like there are multiple sets of holes in the bracket that attaches to the wall for different stud locations but with studs 16" apart you can only use the outside holes. Depending on where the bars attach to your TV you can slide the TV left and right along the mount but you can't cross over the center. As it is, my TV is not quite centered where I wanted it, but is about 2" off.

Versatile tv mounting bracket

I've purchased three of these. Mounted a 42" tv and two 65" tvs. Was easy to mount and came with all the accessories needed for the different style tvs.
