Unlike some higher end mounts this one has plenty of extra bits, wrenches and tools to get the job done. If you lack tools of your own for whatever reason, the provided tools should help.

Depends where you need it

However, the arm needs to go into a stud typically and that never aligns with the center of where I want the TV to go - that being said, the TV will not flatten against the wall if the arm is not in the center. I wouldn't purchase again knowing that.
