I had purchased a 50" TV and the legs that came with it were too wide for the tv stand I had. The other option was to mount the TV (which I initially did not want to do). However, I decided to go with it and am happy I did. It is solid and I like the ability to position TV in different angles as needed. Installation was fast and easy...used a tech to do it.

It does just that. Not matter what seat I'm watching TV from, the screen is facing me.

Great for nearly all TV's

You only really need to find a single stud and you're golden! We used this for an older LED TV that was a 42" and this mount was basically overkill, but super flexible for the space we had to mount in. One thing you'll want to keep in mind for really small TV's are the locations of the cable ports (HDMI, etc.) on VESA mounts, as the TV was so small and the ports plug straight into the backface of the TV that we had to use spacers to get the backplate of the wall-mount to stick out far enough that we could barely snuggle in a right-angle adapter for the HDMI cable because the Backplate of the wall-mount just sits right over the port area on the Back of the TV.

It's not too hard to install (if you have the right tools) and holds the TV nicely. It's fully adjustable so it's easy to adjust it in the room. The only downside is that you need to find a stud in your wall, so the mounting location is restricted.
