The arm has a good range of movement towards and away from the wall and good tilt to adjust for glares.

Looking at the pictures you get a better idea versus the directions the directions are just not helpful at all

I would highly recommend it. I have it holding my 43 inch Sony TV. It is very sturdy even with the arm, extended way out to the side.

I couldn't make them work even with the spacers, so I had to buy my own. Not really a big deal to me, I'm still very happy with it. Holds my 32" TV like it's nothing!
