The previous mount was supposed to have been able to support both, but the holes on the back of the tv were at different areas so I had to replace. I’ve mounted a handful of tvs before so it was easy for me, tv stays on and can swivel. Win win.

Based on previous lessons learned, I knew that I needed an extendable mount, and this unit looked like it would fit nicely in the corner area of the selected room while allowing me to properly position the TV for optimal viewing from my desk area. I couldn't be more pleased with it, as it allows me to extend the TV suffiently to enable proper attachment and securing of the assorted cable assemblies involved while providing an extremely stable mount for the TV. Side note - The attachment hardware included with this mount provided an exemplary range of options that rivals anything I've previously purchased, but care is strongly advised to ensure sufficient engagement in each individual TV's VESA attachment point while not damaging any internal mechanical and/or electrical assemblies.

Ensure to secure it to a stud, don’t try to use the cement hangers into drywall like I did. It has held well and it extends and tilts very well!

If you are not looking for a lot of tilt in any direction, this is the mounting bracket for you. I put it in my exercise room where I don't need to move it around. The price was a third of the item in the store. Buy on line and save!
