Like the pillar style selection allowed me to find where my stud was and then position the TV as needed on the wall. It's mounted between the hallway and our master closet therefore their dead center was not a stud. Works great had no trouble simple installation.

I love that I can pull it away from the wall to plug things in. It's mounted near a corner and I can move the tv so that it sits in the corner. Easier to see the screen from the whole room. Very easy to attach to back of tv.

It was a little tricky at first, but all it takes is a touch of common sense to figure out the adjustments. Once installed, it works exactly as it's supposed to. Also, it's recommended that you install the mount on a stud which you should definitely do on larger TV's, but you can use 1/2-inch toggle bolts, also called butterfly anchors to secure the base to hollow drywall. This is an option for smaller, lighter TV's. Overall, pretty straightforward. It's a full motion TV mount. Basic. Simple. Does what it's supposed to do. Sturdy.

I was about to drop $300 on a fancy full motion mount but then I saw this one for only a fraction of the price and thought "what the heck, let's try". It was super easy to assemble and it holds my new TV up perfectly!! I can move the TV around in all angles too!
