Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The mounting screws that connect the TV mount to the wall mount are not fixed and spin making it impossible to connect the TV to the wall mount while on the wall. Instead you have to connect all parts together and the several people have to hold the TV in place while you drill the lag bolts into the wall. Normally you mount the arm to the wall and then the big X shaped mount to the TV. Then you connect them with the arm attached the the wall. This makes it a one man job. Normally, the screws that connect the TV part of the mount are fixed to the mount so they don’t spin. Then you hang the TV on the arm. On this mount the screws spin, requiring you to mount the arm to the TV mount then screw the whole mount and arm to the TV. And then attached all of it to the wall. I think this was caused by the threads on the screw being poor quality and binding with the thumb screws causing the threads on the plate to spin. Relying on threads in a 3mm thick plate to prevent the screws from spinning is stupid. Most designs have a hex or square headed bolt that slides into a hex or square slot preventing the bold grom spinning so you can tighten it from one side. Instead you bar to use an Allen wrench on both sides to tighten the nuts. Since one side is flush to the TV this requires removing the mount from the TV from the TV.
