Would not stay connected

Hoping I had just left my mouse behind I didn't want to spend to much. So this was great. However I had to take it back. It seems like it would not stay connected. That or something else was going on, because ever now and then, it would just stop working, and I would see the Blue DPI light flashing. I took this as it trying to reconnect. Long story short, I had to return it. I would have loved to keep it as a backup, but if I ever need it and it keeps disconnecting would it really be worth it?
