I did not want to be tied into signing an agreement with added expense to my budget. I went to Best Buy where I purchased items before and found the answer to my problem. The gentleman that helped me found me the product for a reasonable price. He was courteous and very helpful. That's one reason I like to buy from your store.

It gets a lot of channels, but I had a hard time getting ABC. I'm not sure if it's the antenna's fault though. It's easy to use and it mostly works.

A few tricks to set up

An HDTV antenna is a finicky thing. You have to get it aligned to the HDTV broadcast antenna. In the Chicago area, that's the top of the Willis Tower (pronounced "Sears Tower"). I found that the cable was an important part of getting good signal. I needed the cable to be straight up and down, as close to 90 degree bends, and the horizontal part needed to be hidden behind the TV. Then I got a good signal.

I suspect that broadcast television transmission has improved over last seventy years. OTH I remember coat hangers bringing in UHF. Sort of. Too bad it is not for outdoor use.
