While the unamplified antenna in my bedroom can get a strong signal, this one won't. No location anywhere, INCLUDING the same location that my Bedroom's antenna is located, got me a signal stronger than "bad." Truth be told, it was a returned, open box job, and for $14 it was worth a shot. I'm keeping it for my RV because it does work with other, more distant towers. Granted, the tower that I'm trying to reach does transmit a weaker signal on the UHF frequency, but, as I said when I started this, my bedroom antenna picks it up well.
