    I went with this mount because Monoprice has raised their prices and cheapened the quality on their tv mounts. The first package I got from Best Buy only had the tv brackets in the box. No wall plate, no hardware. The second one sent to me had everything thankfully. For being able to accomodate such large TVs, this mount barely fits on 24” on center studs. While looking through the instructions I noticed that it says to use a 1/4” drill. I highly recommend not to use that large of a drill for the included lag holts. 3/16” is a better bet. 1/4” would be too large and not allow the lag holts to be able to grab when toghtened down. Once I got the wall plate mounted it seems that the wall plate is low profile enough to cause issues with the brackets being able to grab the first time. Took me a bit of time to get it to catch and still, when the top hooks caught, the lower hooks needed a bit of persuasion to catch properly. I know a lot of OLED TVs have all the weight at the bottom, but not all TVs are like that. My TV seems to have enough weight towards the top to make it difficult to keep the tilt function always going forward. The brackets need to be balanced out a bit better. The tilt feature is all the way at the bottom of the bracket causing all the weight to be at the top.
