Do not buy the system without them because you'll be coming back in to buy a second pair. The green is a really cool color option and really makes a system pop I would highly recommend.

Full Blue and Full Red Joy Cons Set!

Officially licensed stuff from Nintendo is always priced higher. It doesn't necessarily mean that its the best built controller as we know about the joy con drifting problems years later its happening.
