They work as intended

However, they are small for larger hands and tend to get uncomfortable after playing for a while. The slide on / off leash are fairly annoying to deal with every time you want to charge the controllers. I prefer the old school larger controllers.

Yellow Nintendo joy-con wireless controllers

My only complaint is that these should really come with the charging grip, they don't make a lot of sense without it.
