They replaced the basic animal crossing light blue and green ones that came with the switch. What an upgrade. Noticeable smoothness, and has a matte type feel which i love.

Favorite controller color I've purchased, ever

I get a lot of compliments on these controllers and they work flawlessly. Joy-Cons seem pricey for what they are but there truly is no alternative. My second favorite was the yellow and purple combo.
