I purchased a Best Buy Plus membership when I bought a new TV and sound bar. It is one of the best investments I've ever made! I got bonuses of over $200 for my purchases, and the bonuses continue to come in as I make Best Buy purchases. Great deal!

I saved the price of the memberships when I signed up - and I'm hoping it will be profitable. Not sure how to get lowest price on items that go on sale for less than you purchased though - that's worth it - when I figure it out.

3.5 stars I have been a Platinum level Best Buy member for many, many years but they stopped that program and started this one. I haven't ever really understood how it works, except that you have to pay for the higher level memberships now rather than earning them through purchases. For $49.99/yr, I get early access to sales, although I'm not sure when these sales are? I also get free 2 day shipping and an extended return policy to 60 days. I think there is something with tech support too but I'm not sure. I would say that if Best Buy wanted their program to be more successful, they need to have a more comprehensive listing of what you get for each level with access to more detailed explanations for each if you need it. From reading around, it doesn't seem that I am the only one with this issue.

I purchased a new Mac laptop and joined the membership. By joining I earned 210 dollars to spend. So spending 50 to get 210 was a no brainer.

Walked in, greeted at the door and asked if we needed help with anything, we said TV’s and they sent over a wonderful helper that knew his stuff, which was good because with all the new stuff and old stuff, we were pretty much lost. Long story short, we ended up with a perfect match of what we needed. Had Geek Squad install at home and again, it was perfect.

I love my middle drawer and the separation with drawers in the freezer so I can get my stuff I use more easily. There is nothing I dislike about it.

I have had excellent service at Best Buy after purchasing a new IPad. Scott was very helpful in dealing with a senior, offering a chair while he was explaining things to me and transferring everything from my old IPad to my new one. I came back the next day to see if they had an adapter so I could use headphones and charge at the same time and he spent a great deal of time searching for it and eventually found it. Customer service is excellent!

Getting protection plans for getting back the money when in the next 60 days the price of the product goes down. Great!!

Definitely worth the purchase. We had a phenomenal sales associate who helped us out plus the membership is only $50 a year and when we purchased our computer it knocked another $50 off the price so basically we got it free for a year and also if the items you purchase go on sale lower than what you paid for them within 60 days you can bring your receipt back to get the sale price. (I already did it once with our laptop. So far within 30 days I’ve already saved $150 total by bringing my receipt back to the help desk. It’s a win win with the membership and then you can cancel at any time.

We recently used the price matching benefit and saved almost $100. Great!

If you plan to spend at least $1,000 at Best Buy during the year, this is a no brainer. Might be effective at an even lower spending level. Since it's an annual membership, I would wait until see some exclusive sales event and then purchase at that time. In most cases, it will immediately pay for itself. Has saved me almost $500 so far.

I was able to lower a price of a purchase. Discounts are always good.

Absolutely worth it. The sale access for upgraded membership pays for itself if you plan on making a large purchase at least once during the time period.

I just benefited from a price drop on my TV purchase, assuming the credit comes through. I'm hoping for other great deals in the upcoming months.
