||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Walked in to buy appliances and was told there is an 18 months no interest card and so I applied. I don't need it but who's going to turn down free money. I had a FICO over 800 and solid financials so buy the stuff and it comes to $5600 and I only get approved to $5000. Not sure why that is the case but I don't know how they run there business so blame me for being ignorant. A few weeks ago by and before I am due to pay or before I even get a card in the mail to start my account I get a notice from credit watch that I have exceeded a credit limit on a card and get almost a 100 point hit on my FICO. I see it was my Best Buy card and called to make a payment over the phone to get it under the limit. I still have a massive hit on my FICO and I was in the middle of buying real estate so now have a huge headache trying to transact that I still haven't been able to resolve 2 weeks later. The minute I use their free money for 18 months is complete I'll close the account and am done with Best Buy.

Exclusive pricing and events have not been appealing so far. Customer service still hasn't resolved a billing issue (going on for 2 months). Besides the one issue, a good program.
