My wife had a unique problem with her IPhone. After several sessions with Apple care they suggested Best Buy. I also have Apple care on our phones. I was informed of the cost and there was no incentive for having Apple care or having the Best Buy Plus membership. In the end I elected to purchase a Mac and do it myself and then I would be prepared if it were to reoccur in the future.

It’s a good idea to have a membership if you purchase Best Buy items often. It gives you peace of mind to know you have some place to go to if a problem arises. If you only shop for items once every other year, then membership may not be beneficial.
