Great Membership Benefits and Excellent Service

The benefits are useful, especially the discounts, special offers, and faster support. It makes shopping easier and gives extra peace of mind when buying electronics and other products. Customer service has also been helpful and responsive whenever I had questions or needed assistance. Overall, the membership feels worth it and adds a lot of value for frequent Best Buy shoppers. I would definitely recommend it.

Panel is bright and clearly visible even in my living room during the daytime with windows open. Panel does have a good amount of warping present on edges of screen but most TVs do especially around this price point

A Total Screw Up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased my Plus membership a couple days prior to making a major appliance purchase at the suggestion of the representative that helped me later make my purchase. Of the washer and dryer combo set, the washer was defective, despite running it through the Quick Cycle by the Geek Squad installation crew. Called to arrange a replacement and was told that my purchase was not made as a Plus Member. The computer had a bogus account w an email that I never had. Tried to straighten the issue out w the representative who became belligerent and rude informing me I was “NOT A PLUS MEMBER”! I wasted over an hour and half waiting for that representative to finally take my call and then get into an argument over my membership. I was verbally providing from the email I received from best buy confirming my membership! It took 3 days w two more calls to Best Buy, to finally get this mess straightened out!!! Very Angry and annoyed that it took several hours on the phone w Best Buy. In the end, everything turned out okay and the defective washer was replaced. Plus Membership is probably worth the cost but there was absolutely no excuse for Best Buy to have such a major account computer screw up since I’ve had my account for over 15 years! My time is money and I deserve compensation for this inexcusable situation!

Best Buy membership

The staff in person are very knowledgeable and helpful and the discounts on line are great! Thank you geek squad! I like that I get to know information through the emails. I like the free 2 day shipping with no minimum purchase required, exclusive member only pricing, the 60 day extension for returns or refunds, and the priority access to sales. The free 2 day shipping without a minimum purchase limit pays for the plans on it's own.

A “painless” Washing Machine Replacement

Best membership for any tech lover

I got a great price on a laptop and even saved money on headphones and accessories I was planning to buy anyway. The discounts pop up more often than I expected, so I don’t have to wait for Black Friday to score a good deal. The free two-day shipping with no minimum is a huge win. I’ve used it for smaller things like HDMI cables and controllers, and they show up super fast with no extra fees or hassle. The extended sixty-day return policy has also saved me once or twice when I wasn’t sure about a big purchase. It just takes the stress out of buying tech, which I really appreciate. I also love that members get early access to sales. I managed to grab a TV before it sold out, and that pretty much sealed the deal for me. Shopping online feels easier too because checkout is quicker and I get special offers that fit what I’m actually looking for. All in all, My Best Buy Plus™ just makes shopping smoother and cheaper. If you buy a few things from Best Buy each year, this membership is a no-brainer. It basically pays for itself, and the perks make it feel like you’re getting VIP treatment without paying VIP prices.

Worth the Buy!

The longer return window gives peace of mind on bigger purchases, and the member pricing can save a decent amount on electronics. Free fast shipping is convenient, and I like getting access to exclusive deals before everyone else. It’s probably not necessary for people who rarely shop for tech, but for frequent electronics purchases or appliance shopping, the membership can pay for itself pretty quickly.

65" Q8F(2018) model vs S90F(2025) model Samsung TV

Brighter colors, non reflective surface, 4k enhancement of screen. I have noticed sound quality is poorer. Some lower sound frequency are now missing. Volume control if set at 8 now has to be set at 15 to get the same sound volume. And the most annoying thing is now the newer software will not allow you to add open air channels manually.

Normally, the camera is embedded in the screen, not something that you need to pull up from behind the screen. I would recommend this product if the camera is modified.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like that If I have to I can return something after 45-60 days I like that’s it’s affordable I don’t like that the discount are not really that big only like 1-5 dollars I’m a pokemon collector so I dont like that as a member we dont have (Exclusive) perks for chances to get Pokemon I dont like as a member the store opens at the same time as regular customers , I would like it to be at the very least 30 min earlier As a member I haven’t seen as much exclusivity deals for a member then a regular customer I do like some employees do thank us for being a member just brightens my and other day

Great Laptop Purchase & Excellent Customer Service

love this refrigerator!!

I love the french doors. I can easily see what is in the fridge. The freezer doors with separate areas lets me keep things organized. It doesn't have a freezer light, but that is not a big deal for me. The finish doesn't show any fingerprints at all. great product!

Be Smart Buy Membership if holiday is close or any
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Straight truth review, do not purchase the membership if you only go to best buy once or twice a year, but with that being said lets say the purchases you make those once or twice a year are big apliances or even pricey technology then the membership may be very useful, but plan your purchases if you need the item now and Black Friday or Christmas or whatever discount holiday is coming up then with the membership they will reimburse you the difference of the sale for your already purchased item. Now myself I do not shop best buy a lot maybe 3 times a year. But last Christmas my daughters asked for an Ipad so we went to Best buy I found the one she asked for, we also decided to purchase a new phone for my other daughter we bought the iphone 12 it was on sale, i also bought 2 sets of air pods so roughly $1300 purchase i was offered the membership paid $50 i think for it this was literally on Christmas Eve, the associate explained the new iphone would be released later the next month and usually they will put the older ones on sale and showed me how to use the app to even get an alert when price drops ect. Ok in March my husband purchased me a new phone. A month later we had some unexpected home repairs so I said i can wait for a new phone this was more important. Well looking at reciept I realized my husband had bought and had in his name so I went on their customer service chat and the associate said that I do have the membership but this purchase wasnt made on my account so they couldn't refund. Ok so I had I decided to just drive to best buy return and ask about a refund and see if tbey could add the purchase to my membership because it does allow more return time then just regular accounts. The store manager came over i explained everything. I showed him the reciepts and he pulled up my account and I was nervous or just thinking theres nothing they will be able to do well i was wrong. He proceeded to then hand me a full refund, and then said i also noticed on your receipt for the best buy membership you had also purchased an ipad it has actually dropped $200 dollars, and the iphone $150, and the airpods are only $20 dollars cheaper this week only so with my permission he could reimburse me the difference back to my original payment, you can only get the price difference on the items once and I said yes please he then gives me a new receipt, and told me $395 would be going back on my card within 1-3 days. So helpful and i was very thankful i went ahead and purchased the membership because somtimes unexpected costs can be stressful and i would not have been able to return the 1000 dollar phone since I only had phone 16 days and there policy is 2 week warranty, and added bonus that day an extra 390 for the other items i had purchased were not dicounted and did everything in 5 minutes. We left and the reimbursement payment actually was in my bank about 2 in half hours later(that is based on what bank you have) so yes this membership was 50 and the way I looked at it was it 50 , but I knew with new iphone being released it would be beneficial to get sale price and i wouldnt have to wait too long. But what I got from the membership was much more, the app is easy to navigate and see you account and contact customer service online(even though the representative was bot able to help me online they advised me to go ahead and go to the store they couldn't promise they would be able to add the purchase to my original account but they could help me more in person. I think it is worth it, just remember to purchase it when buying higher priced electronics or appliances or phones. I wouldn't go and buy a Playstation video game only and purchase it then or cell phone case lol you understand what I am getting at.

When I asked for a data transfer from one iPhone to another, I was disappointed. They seemed to tell me that they "didn't do that." Some OTHER department was supposed to do it and then, only if I was signing up with T-mobile or AT&T. MY phones were unlocked. I am with Mint Mobile. After paying $180 for Total Care, I had to learn how to do the phone set-up and data transfer myself. Maybe I misunderstood them but ... buyer beware. I am hoping not to hear anymore "we don't do that" for the remainder of the year.

Plus is Ok, but it could offer better benefits

I use to qualify for this level just about every year for free back when it was under the reward membership program, but now that this level is behind a pay wall I’’m expecting more benefits more often for my paid subscription. At this time I’m thinking this service may not be something I continue with after this initial year, but we’ll see. I purchase a fair amount of either speciality or pre-order items from Best Buy (BB) that take longer processing times and do not benefit from the faster shipping aspect. The most beneficial part of being a Plus member currently is the extended return window, but with a catch! So, in years past I did not utilize returns much, it is a nice comfort but at the same time a bit of a pointless feature if there are no issues that require return…BUT here’s the catch, the one area where this does get 4/5 stars is during that extended return window the Price Match Guarantee is also extended…now this I have utilized numerous times to price match a purchase to Amazon prices as 8 out of 10 times Amazon will offer the same item at a lower price. I do like the special pricing/events, but have not yet seen “Plus pricing” on an item I actually am considering purchasing…some interesting items certainly but nothing that’s made me purchase, but I’m sure this will change. If you are not a Best Buy credit card holder I would absolutely not recommend Plus. If you are a credit card hold, who earn reward points then yes Plus is worth the now cost of a program that was once free. The 2-day shipping aspect is OK, but seeing as BB, like all retailers are in direct competition with Amazon, often 2-day shipping is still slower than what Amazon can/does offer on daily bases for being a Prime member. To be fair I was not a BB card holder I would not be a Plus member and most likely not be purchasing as much from BB these days as I have in the past. Earning point's for purchase for reward certificates is still the only true benefit keeping me a regular BB customer…all things being equal, Amazon is almost always cheaper and offers faster shipping. If BB didn’t price match and offer reward points there would be no real reason not use Amazon.

BEST MEMBERSHIP EVER !!!

The longer return window alone is clutch, but the protection plans and support make it worth it. I’ve bought multiple electronics through them and it makes everything way less stressful knowing you’re covered if something goes wrong. The employees are always chill and the exchanges/returns have been super smooth for me too. If you buy tech often — headphones, consoles, TVs, laptops, cameras, anything — I’d definitely recommend it
