The value in his membership to me seemed to be price protection at the time I bought it. No one told me how to use the price protection I assumed it was an automatic notification. When I sqw the lower price it was not honored because it was not “ timely”. So ultimately I canceled it because that was really the only reason I got it to begin with

The membership saved me $50 on my recent purchase, which was a significant discount right off the bat. Here’s how it’s been helpful and what I anticipate for the future: Savings and Discounts: The immediate benefit of saving $50 on my purchase was fantastic. Best Buy often offers exclusive discounts and promotions for members, which can lead to substantial savings over time, especially if you're a frequent shopper or plan to make larger purchases like electronics or appliances. Member-Only Offers: I've already started receiving member-only offers via email, including special sales events and early access to certain products. These offers are tailored to members and often provide better deals compared to regular promotions available to non-members.

Membership was fine, was useful for original large purchase. Did not use again across the year. Most disappointing was the policy that the membership cannot be cancelled for auto-renewal while remaining active. So, I could immediately cancel, but then would not have been able to use any benefits from membership later (within original 1 year from purchase). My choices were therefore: 1. cancel immediately, 2. continue to get an auto-renewed membership whether I utilized the service or not, 3. remember to cancel the membership later before 1 year had passed. I was ultimately able to remember to cancel just fine, but it is still noteworthy how Best Buy operates their memberships.

The Best buy staff were excellent in helping me select the appropriate television. The delivery crew were efficient and. On this rainy delivery day a box housing the TV leaned against the wall incurring a stain. The service man was very apologetic and cleaned it thoroughly. The setup of the TV was pretty straightforward.
