I have brought so many items in the last few weeks that it just makes sense it puts warranties on just about everything I have purchased.

The My Best Buy Plus and My Best Buy Total tiers offer decent savings but may not be worth it unless you make frequent big-ticket purchases. Overall, it’s a good investment if you buy electronics often, but casual shoppers may not find enough value to justify the cost.

I recently purchased the Best Buy Plus membership from BestBuy.com. The driving decision for me was a promotion they had this summer which included a "buy 2, get 1 free" deal on Nintendo Switch games. Including games that were not yet released that would be pre-ordered. Excited about the offer, I carefully selected three games, ensuring that the promotion would apply correctly at checkout. Received a confirmation email with the correct billing breakdown. Unfortunately, what followed was a frustrating experience that left me deeply dissatisfied and upset. When the games were released & shipped, I was charged for all three games instead of receiving the promised deduction for the free item. This glaring discrepancy between the advertised promotion and the actual billing process was incredibly disappointing & unacceptable. It not only wasted my time but also misled me into believing I would benefit from a deal that was not honored. I did not authorize my card to be charged for 3 games. Attempting to rectify the situation, I contacted Best Buy's customer service. The resolution process was drawn-out and inefficient. I found myself waiting on hold for extended periods, only to be met with unhelpful responses and an overall lack of accountability for the error. The failure to honor the promotion as advertised, coupled with the subsequent inconvenience of resolving the issue through customer service, reflects poorly on Best Buy's commitment to customer satisfaction. Such misleading marketing tactics and inadequate customer support are unacceptable for a company of Best Buy's stature. As a consumer, I expected having this membership would be beneficial and provide perks, however that wasn't the case. This experience has significantly diminished my confidence in Best Buy's promotions and their ability to provide reliable customer service. I sincerely hope that Best Buy addresses these issues promptly, ensuring that future promotions are accurately represented and that customers are not misled or inconvenienced as I was. Do not be persuaded by the "exclusive deals." They are not honored and there's no real benefit to gain by purchasing this membership. I now spent $49.99 on an annual membership that offered a buy 2 get 1 game free promotion, thinking that the membership essentially pays for itself with the game being free only to be charged a membership and 3 switch games at $59.99 each.

I signed up for the membership a couple years ago and it’s honestly been worth it. The free 2-day shipping alone makes it super convenient, and I like having early access to sales and exclusive member pricing. If you shop at Best Buy even semi-regularly, it pays for itself pretty quickly. The 60-Day return window is also a huge bonus.

The memberships it provides are very good and very good. I encourage you to sign up. I know why membership is really nice and will help you in a lot sincerely. I am very happy to have signed up and have a membership in this store.

Having the 60 days returns, paid for itself with a 43 inch tv. The tv just stopped working after 5 weeks. I was able to return it and get a different model with no issues.

This is a very advantageous membership. We especially like the product protection plans. The plan for our big screen TV enabled us to replace it at no cost when it needed a part that's no longer available, and since the price of TVs has come down, we had enough money left to purchase 2 new iPhones and Apple Care.

Its a great program, but im giving it 1 star because the person who sold me this program lied to me about what exactly it is. I was tight on money but felt pressured to get it due to deals i wanted to get, and money that would come back to me. I wanted a tv that was consistently being sold out during black friday, the sales man on the phone told me if i get this program i can get the tv up to 2 months after at the black friday price, he also told me a 800 computer i bought a month earlier would get $50 back which would cover the price of the plan. I went back in with in a week to get the tv i wanted price matched at the black friday price and they said it dont work that way, only works for items i already bought, and then i tried getting the price match on my lap top i got to get $50 returned on my best buy credit card, and they said it dont work on items i bought before i got the membership plan. I was so mad, cause i only got it because of those 2 reasons. I have been able to use the perks with a tv i bought for a 60 day return, but tbh i cant guve more than 1 star because i didnt get it for that purpose, i felt lied to, and next time i will ask multiple people before settling on something just to make sure they are telling the truth or are trained well enough to explain it in detail. I would reccomend it though, cause i was able to get the return done and got access to 3 day specials

To be honest, I wasn’t incredibly thrilled about it, and I thought I would receive a lot more savings than I did and if I would’ve known that, I was gonna have to pay renewal fees I would’ve canceled. I wasn’t given notice that the membership was up so after it was done, I simply didn’t want to go through the motions of trying to get a refund. I have noticed that the products that I usually buy on a regular basis are either out of stock or I can find cheaper on websites like Amazon and Newegg, etc..

I have bought an appliance from Best Buy store last month and love it. The price was right for the brand name appliance. The installation was scheduled the next day and it worked perfectly. We are happy to get what we want.
