Best Buy has buy for one of the best memberships that I have agreed to. I have no complaints about the company buy for the best hand down.

I signed up for Plus as part of a promotion, so the cost and the reward basically cancelled each other out. Based on my spending habits, I only saved about $22 dollars that year with the membership. When it came time for renewal, I didn't really see the value, but I did opt to upgrade to the Total tier which gives you 2 years of geek squad coverage per product. Since i was buying a new laptop at the time, that felt like a much better fit for my needs. My biggest complaint is there's not an easy way to upgrade or downgrade yet. You have to cancel the existing membership and buy the one you want.

The Geek Squad are the best! They connected by tv to my stereo system with no problem and had the patience to answer questions after. Many thanks to Steven and the guys!!!

It would matter more if I purchased electronics regularly. For someone who primarily uses this for accessories, toys, and collectibles, this hasn't been super helpful. I haven't gotten early or priority access to anything that I buy regularly; there usually isn't a discount using this either. I'll hold onto it for a year to see if it changes, but it doesn't look like I will be renewing this membership.

For those who are consistent Best Buy shoppers this membership is definitely a must have with the opportunities to return devices in a more timely timeframe is important. Did I mention the deals that memberships offer, it’s phenomenal?

The membership plan is excellent value, esp the fact that you get geek squad protection on purchases, gives you great peace of mind. Also the selection of products and customer service you get from Best Buy is simply outstanding.
