One of the main reasons for the five stars is Bryan, a helpful and very good-natured floor rep at the Dedham branch in Massachusetts. When we come in knowing the category of product we need, but not knowing a brand or model, we can rely on him to guide us to products that have proven effective and durable for us at a much higher rate than earlier before we found him. Then he spends time helping us get the best prices on them that Best Buy can offer, sometimes a complex process. Overall the human factor like this is still crucially important in making us regular customers at a store. There are so many products sold by Best Buy in each product category, and often the particular models recommended by supposedly "objective" consumer rating services like CR and the New York Times' Wirecutter are not among them, that a good in store guide who is honest is essential to guide lay people towards purchasing an item that will be satisfactory, and avoiding high markup "duds". The payoff to the store is possibly accepting the tradeoff of lower markups on immediate sales, but gaining much stronger customer loyalty, and thereby higher returns in the medium and long term through a significantly higher aggregate gross sales amount over the years. Bryan serves Best Buy well in this respect and we greatly appreciate his services, making the Dedham store the first place we go to whenever we need an appliance or office equipment.

The protection plans are a great bonus — knowing my devices are covered makes a big difference. I’ve found myself shopping at Best Buy more often just because of the perks.

Geek Squad was very informative regarding my computer issues. Based on their findings I decided to purchase a new computer that meets all my expectations and then some. I will also have Geek Squad replace the hard drive in my old computer to have on hand as a backup and at a fair price with my membership.

Best Buy plus membership is totally worth it. I shop at Best Buy about once a month and I’ve made some major purchases this past year and appreciated having some extra perks, including a much longer window for returns. I haven’t needed it often, but it was nice to have when I did.

I had horrible experience ordering half of my appliances from loews to the point even the installers said why didn't you go to loews. My experience with best buy/this purchase was so amazing it was to good to be true. From the moment I walked into the store the manager met with me and guaranteed they would rectify any and all prior dealings as far as appliances. With my anxiety and just going through the issue it took me a month of looking at the card she gave me. From taking that deep breath and walking in that same manager remembered and made EVERY point of all things regarding appliances so seamless. They even corrected and verified the prior loews mishaps.

I love LG TVs, they last and have a great image. I have 3 of them, and wouldn't get any other brand

HP Omnipoint desktop computer with copilot is a great computer. No problem to setup. The computer helps you along the process. I recommend this computer to anyone needing a new computer with Windows 11. Awesome creativity.

When having connection issues with my printer, I called and an agent was able to quickly resolve the problem. Having technical support readily available is fantastic!

I bought the basic member plan 1st. But then I bought a new computer and repaired my old computer. So service agent suggested upgrading to Premium plan since it would cover the diagnostic and repair on my old computer. So it really worked out right away. But now I will have the added benefit to build a service relationship with BEst buy throughtout the year. Only negative was on geek squad. They did repair my old pc well and set up my new computer. But they reinstalled and upgraded microsoft office/one drive for me and forgot to update numerous settings that were disconnected due to this approach. Had to reconnect by HP printer and noticed all my excel files were now xlsw not xls.

having used it much but so far, all is good. i recently bought a new TV and the purchase and delivery were spot on and the TV looks great.
