I was skeptical at first, but really impressed a couple months in. In-store salesperson recommended the membership for multiple reasons, not the least of which was the extended price match guarantee. I had bought two LG OLED C4's so the price points were pretty high and any price reduction would more than pay for the BB+ membership. Sure enough, the prices fell. I returned to the store with my receipt expecting a hassle, but the staff credited my account with the price difference AND applied some of the rewards dollars I had accrued from the original purchase. I was so delighted, I bought a new printer with some of my savings! The Geek Squad guys who did the TV install were terrific as well. Really impressed overall.

I recently discovered that I was charged for a Best Buy Plus membership—something I never asked for or agreed to. It turns out the cashier added it during checkout without my consent, which is incredibly frustrating and feels very dishonest. Since being unknowingly signed up, I haven’t seen any real benefits from having this membership. No noticeable savings, perks, or exclusive deals that would justify the extra cost.

Has already paid for itself as the tv we purchased came down by over $200.

Its good if you buy alot of things from best buy. Gives discounts

Customer service has also been super helpful and quick whenever I’ve had questions. If you shop at Best Buy even a few times a year, this membership pays for itself. Highly recommend!

I was having trouble getting an online order completed so I went to the store to complete my order. I received excellent help from the leadership team as they reached out to banking company to correct their internal issues. Total process took about 20 minutes to fix but the leadership team member knew what to do, who to call with the banking company and helped to complete my online order which I received at my home address in less than a week.

I signed up for the Best Buy Membership when I bought my MacBook Pro 16” in early April 2025 and I’m so glad I did! A few days later, I received a text from Best Buy that the same MacBook went on sale during the Easter holiday. I went back to the store and asked about the price match benefit, and they honored it right away. Within 12–16 hours, I received a $250 refund through a certificate. The process was super easy and smooth. It honestly felt like getting rewarded just for being a member! I highly recommend getting the Best Buy Membership, especially if you’re planning to make big purchases. You never know when the price might drop, and this perk alone already made the membership worth it for me.

I really dont know what I would do without having this

I think this is a great deal. I love that. It extends the return window to 60 days. Also, I just feel more comfortable knowing I have time to get to know the product I purchased and to make sure it’s the right one for me.

Love having this membership! Great purchase to have when things aren’t right! Anything I buy from Best Buy I will always purchase My Best Buy Plus with anything I buy!

Value of the Plus membership has not been explained to me to date

The My Best Buy Plus annual membership gives you perks like free 2-day shipping, exclusive member prices and extended returns for a year — great if you shop frequently, but the value depends on how much you use those perks.

Our experience at the West Lebanon store was excellent. The Geek Squad person as very helpful and got our laptop squared away. We are very appreciative of the assistance. We bought the membership plan due to the assistance we received and for any future problems.
