This was a good choice at the time it really paid for it's self in the long run, but I ended up upgrading to the Total.

Needed a new tablet. Sale price was excellent and the store employees were so helpful. Membership comes in handy because all my devices were purchased at Best Buy. I've also used Best Buy for my refrigerator, washer and dryer.

The My BestBuy gold membership has a annual fee of $50. At first you may contemplate the fact that you may not want to pay this annually, however the biggest perk from having it is the exclusive discounts!! Year to date (I’ve had it for a month) I have saved an additional $200!! Its not a scam!! At checkout you have to present your membership card on the app or provide your phone number, without it they will charge you the price everyone else pays. I purchase 90% of my tech from Best buy, the way I see it if I am going to purchase from there either way I might as well save extra money !! Anddd use my savings buy more of the things I want hahaha

Well I suppose when my dog eats another remote and they replace like they said they would I’d give them 10 stars, Sone companies or employees just tell you what you wanna hear. But in the past I have had really good experiences with Best Buy’s membership return policies

Membership is great to buy. Get money back if items you bought go on sale ! Love that deal.

I came in to the store to compare laptop features and pricing. I spoke with a sales rep who explained the features of the Lenovo. When she finished I checked the price, and it was on sale. The price sticker listed membership pricing and sale pricing. So I inquired about the membership pricing it was the lowest sale price. Now I thought I had a membership but it wasn't the type to get the lowest sale price but if I purchased I could get the laptop for my he lowest sale price. I did and I love the additional features to. I got a great laptop for a huge discount with my membership. It was that easy.

Having a membership for a place you purchase a lot from is nice to have and would recommend.

Usually the best prices on most items like computers, TVs etc. Accessory items are overpriced - buy them elsewhere. I had bad experiences with GEEK squad ... bought an Acer 5050 laptop and it had networking problems. Geek squad couldn't fix it - said it was hardware fault. After LOTS of attempts to fix it, I gave up on the GEEKs ... removed WIN OS and installed Ubuntu myself. Problem solved. It wasn't hardware - it was some kind of software conflict in Acer net management and WIN that they could not resolve. I think they are OK for routine stuff, but they are not competent for complex problems.

I liked it when I got it for free with my PC and I got a discounted PC bag buy with it. I’ve taken advantage of the free Apple Music and TV. I don’t have a lot of things to buy so I’ve not used it beyond my original buy.

I really like my computer...just not sure about the membership

I purchased a eero mesh router system in August 2023. The price was competitive, the purchase experience was trouble free, and the Geek Squad Technician (Matt) was great. I would have really struggled putting in the system myself. The membership was well worth the cost and would do it again the same way. However, I'm not a frequent purchaser and have not had the opportunity to use any of the other membership benefits. I'm looking at purchasing a couple of kitchen appliances within the next twelve months and will keep Best Buy high on the shopping list.

It’s definitely useful if you plan on making large purchases at Best Buy
