My new TV costing $4,399 failed in the first 18 days. Without this membership I would not be able to return the TV. I did not return the TV to Best Buy because the manufacturer wanted the TV back to go to their lab for testing.

Perhaps as time goes on, there will be items of interest at a more competitive price/value where this membership will 'pay for itself'. Right now, I'm not seeing it.
