The things we buy are usually on sale so it doesn't benefit us much. The one time we really needed help our purchase (a VPN) was outside of everyone's expertise.

The cashier gave me the tip that if I purchased the membership for 49.99 that I would save $100 off my purchase. Basically saving me $50 off my purchase total. Also she said that I could cancel anytime and not be charged the annual renewal fee. The discount is the only reason I signed up and will be cancelling before the annual renewal as I don't see any benefit of it for me.

I am now waiting if and when the deal comes back, so I only really use the membership for the free shipping. The membership just needs better incentives, especially for gamers.
