    Initially purchased because Plus membership price was covered by the discount sale price i received on an item. Seemed ok, but when I ran into a shipping credit issue I expected an increased level of customer service. This did not happen. I was forced to spend over 2 hours on chat tofinally get a refund on an item that was not delivered. I did not receive the refund, nor any indication of a recognition of the problem for over 2 weeks. I was offered no additional apologies or inconvenience reimbursement, very disappointing.

    We were skeptical of this membership, but purchased anyway when we made a big TV and sound bar buy. I am so glad we did because the TV went on sale and we received $400 return to our credit card. Definitely worth it.

    So I was buying equipment for video streaming, that I was completely sure that I needed the items I was buying or not. When I was at the checkout the cashier asked if I wanted to upgrade my free membership to a paid one in order to get a cash discount on my items, I told her I was happy with the free membership I already had and wasn't sure if I was keeping the products or not; so I would pass for now. She proceeded to tell me that if I paid the upgrade price that I would get a discount on my items that day and also it upgraded my return exchange policy to 60 days. This seemed like a great added value, a discount and extended return in case I didn’t need the items. I left seeming happy with my new paid membership and my purchases. Well about a month later after getting all of my new computer and internet service I started to assemble my streaming setup and realized that 2 of the 3 products I purchased were unnecessary. Happy, I upgraded my memory extend my return policy to two months as I was told I went into my local store to return the products, and I was informed that they were passed the return exchange policy of TWO WEEKS. I explained to the customer service representative that I had purchased an upgraded membership and I should have 2 months to return the product according to the cashier that sold me on it. I was unpleasantly informed that I was lied to in order to get the sale of the upgraded membership and that what she sold me didn’t include extended return policy. I actually needed to upgrade to an even more expensive package in order to reap the benefits of the extended exchange policy. So I left salty and upset with my products and an upgraded membership that I never wanted or needed. I’m now stuck with the products that I didn’t need and the membership. I guess I learned my lesson to read the rules and regulations myself and not to trust a cashier to truthfully explain it to me.

    Prior to purchasing this membership, I saw some great discount prices on items I was considering at the member prices. However, it seemed that those deals have now become more for products that I can't imagine ever needing. It's obviously more for the Geek Squad and protection support, which will be appreciated when I do make a purchase.

    The lady at the customer service was amazing. She helped me exchange my Ninja blender for another with blending cups also! First time, in a long time I haven't been mentioned about a BEST BUY membership! And I've been going to this location for years. I walked out of the shop happy and glad I met this team worker. Now I am prepared ahead of time for upcoming specials and deals--especially for Black Friday coming up! Thank you, she was exceptionally wonderful and it reminded me of what used to be the top-of the line service when you would walk into any Best Buy and every team member would ask if you needed help. This was the best service I've experienced anywhere in quite a while.

    Despite the fact that I really love this store and buy all my equipment from there, including my laptop and I am going to buy photo equipment from there soon, a stadicam lens and Drom, but I was refused their card, I don’t have a Best Buy card and I will have to buy each time either in cash or through a credit card or Affirm, well, if they don’t give me a Best Buy card with good conditions, then I think I will buy my future equipment from another place

    Good experience but I thought the up charges for TV installation and removal were both excessive and overreach based upon my dealing with other vendors.

    Definitely worth the purchase. We had a phenomenal sales associate who helped us out plus the membership is only $50 a year and when we purchased our computer it knocked another $50 off the price so basically we got it free for a year and also if the items you purchase go on sale lower than what you paid for them within 60 days you can bring your receipt back to get the sale price. (I already did it once with our laptop. So far within 30 days I’ve already saved $150 total by bringing my receipt back to the help desk. It’s a win win with the membership and then you can cancel at any time.

    Like this membership. There are items I purchased at a reduced and more affordable price because of savings AND certificates earned from other purchases. Worth it. Not always something that you need, but often enough to be beneficial.

    I had a completely unpleasant experience buying a fridge.. Then I canceled that purchase when it was delayed by 3 months. I then purchased a floor model that was delayed in delivery as well. During the cancellation of the first fridge we purchased, They signed me up for this when I purchased the floor model, and gave me a pile of gift cards, which I then used to pay for said floor model fridge. I haven't been back in the store or to the website since. The experience was complete trash. Then this e-mail showed up, so here I am. Why did I sign up for this 'Membership' that I know nothing about, and never use since I'm never in store... which is 50+ miles from my home... a store that I might visit once a year....... Granted, When I do visit, I usually buy expensive things.. $700 tv.. $1000 fridge... so forth, but I only shop with you once a year... maybe once every 5 years... depending on my tech needs... Why and what does this membership do other than send me spam?
