depending on your circumstances, how much electronic equipment you usually buy per year, a membership may make sense

I would love to say membership is the best but in all honestly can't because when we signed up for it I wasn't aware you needed to make an appointment anytime you need even very minor assistance with your cell phone or lap top. I realize I'm not a computer or iphone whiz or expert but come on guys, the greeter at the door said I needed an appointment just to ask a simple question about my new iphone which Best Buy supports. That turns me off to being a Best Buy member. Perhaps you could change your policy at the front door to include it's ok to seek an answer to a question from tech support without an appointment.

On paper the membership is a decent deal. I paid $50 for it and got a $50 certificate to spend at Best buy. I purchased the membership in order to get two month price match on a TV purchase and that is the only reason. I was banking on the price of my purchase to decrease which didn't happen but I'm not mad I got the membership. I will not be getting it again though because I simply do not shop at Best buy often enough.

Being part of membership plus is such a great thing, I’m not gonna lie at first I thought it was only a “marketing thing” but now I can truly see what a plus member is!!

Best Buy is the most convenient place you can get stuff for cheaper prices than any other store.

Didn't mean to register for membership and when I saw the charge appear after a month they quickly and easily canceled it and refunded my money. Easiest membership I've ever had to deal with.

This thing paid for itself, I purchased my lovely Mac when I signed up and instantly saved.

It may take a week, but when you need a Geek, with Best Buy Plus you've got someone you can trust who will come to your house and without any doubts and without any fear fix up your gear while you kick back and enjoy a snack!

This membership is actually beneficial for me. I don’t go to Best Buy often but when I do I receive good savings. I’ve also received cash back and discounts that I wouldn’t be able to get otherwise. It works out for me-

I purchased a Best Buy Plus membership when I bought a new TV and sound bar. It is one of the best investments I've ever made! I got bonuses of over $200 for my purchases, and the bonuses continue to come in as I make Best Buy purchases. Great deal!

In the past, Samsung had good sound and picture and was the cheapest at Best Buy. Now, like everyone else, it is overly digital sounding (harsh and not real...I call it scratchy-sounding). I wanted a simple TV like the last two Samsung's I got about 5 years ago (funny, both went out on the same weekend) but now there is way too much complication from pushing of products/services

As our salesperson told us when we bought our TV, we should watch for sales around Super Bowl. I did and called yesterday to claim my difference. Once I had a person on the phone, she was so polite, so quick, and handled everything perfectly. So impressed with our knowledgeable salesperson and the woman who refunded us the sale price difference.

I have already saved more than what I spent to enroll in the membership. When I buy a product that shows what I would be paying with my membership Im a little skeptical thinking there may have been an error in the printing because some products have a huge difference in price for members compared to non-members.
