    I don't think the $50 value membership is worth it for most people. The only real benefit is the 60 day return policy which should already be mandatory for all big electronic purchases.

    This was is not as good as the best buy protect. I would not recommend. Spend the extra money on the higher value purchases. it might save you alot of heartache in the future

    I think of Best Buy as a technology company. However, their ability to communicate with customers when installing their products is poor. This is especially true when they use subcontractors. I’ve waited two days to have my TV properly installed and on both occasions No one showed, and there was no communication. If I buy a mattress or a piece of furniture from other companies,I am over communicated with. To work through the Best Buy customer service support function is an exercise in aggravation, and sometimes futility. I buy most of my electronics through Best Buy and being a member so far has yielded little benefit.

    While I thought the Best Buy membership was a good idea, I soon found that salespeople misrepresented the membership and misrepresented an item in an attempt to sell it. The layers of falsehoods and poor performance (everything from lies told by the original salesperson to canceled repair appointments) quickly showed me that I want nothing to do with Best Buy ever, and especially that I do not want a membership for this kind of performance.

    As long as you think you may make a big purchase any time soon, it's worth it to get this membership where you get the 60 days of returns and price matching and also various deals.

    I recently purchased an LG C4 65” TV and soundbar. I needed some advice a few days after the purchase so I went to the store to ask some questions. The rep that sold me the merchandise wasn’t there so I asked another associate about the settings. He told me that he couldn’t help me because the tv wasn’t in front of him. I asked if there was somebody else that could help me. He said he was the most experienced associate there. He asked me if I YouTubed it for help. I told him yes and that I had been through all the settings. He actually said, “then I don’t know what to tell you. Bring it back for another soundbar.” What a great representative for your company. He was useless and arrogant. I guess he was too experienced to help me. He’s also the same guy that I interrupted a conversation I was having with the original associate when I initially made the purchase. He butted right in without even an excuse me. He’s very rude. My original sales person was great. This clown I spoke to later was awful.
