    It still costs the same as the old Total Tech service with nowhere near the same perks. It should still include free installation for all services.

    Great unless it is a Geek Squad refurbished item

    Normally this membership is worth it. I purchased some Geek Squad refurbished headphones and the left one stopped working and they don't stand behind their refurbished product as I was told by a customer service rep that the totaltech doesn't cover refurbished products. I am big Best Buy fan but this is extremely disappointing.

    Used to be an excellent service but not any more. They have taken away every benfit. When I cancelled they even removed all rewards that I had accumulated. No email, no phone number, nothing. If you want to pay $100 to only talk to a bot, then Best Buy is for you.

    I had GEEK SQUAD since 2012, maybe used 8 times total in 12 years. I just had it to feel like I had someone to call if I couldn’t do something. Now prices INCREASE and way less benefits.????

    has to renew every year and there's no choice to add your protection plan or keep it if you cancel. You should have options to keep your protection plan after cancellation or pay extra.

    The extra cost that I incurred. Thought that everything was covered but not, even though I purchased my expensive 8k tv & more.

    I have a printer that I bought thru best buy, not even 4 months old. It is under warranty for a year. Geek Squad could not fix my printer, so I have to schedule an in house repair from HP, Best Buy is going to be so kind and give me a 20 percent discount on the repair. What a joke! They will not let me do anexchange. Best Buy is no longer a company to count on. Buy elsewhere.

    Have never found a product/item that this protection covers. Keep this protection just in case one day it will be useful for my needs.

    We have 2 different memberships, one for home in NJ and one for home in Fla. have purchased many items from Best Buy over the years and in the past, this protection plan gave us service call at no charge. Now, when we just needed Geek Squad help in re-setting up TVs both in Fla, we were charged $114 each time, twice.just to show up and click a couple of buttons. So the membership cost is a waste of money.

    They took away webroot, and have decided not to fix things for free anymore. These were the two reasons i purchased total tech, for the past few years to begin with. I dont shop best buy enough for these so called discounts, and truth b told the “deals” i get from best buy i can get on amazon for the same or cheaper… They ruined this! I wont renew next year!

    The my Best Buy total, has a lot of FINE PRINT and the 800# is operated by 3rd party out-of-country help that is difficult to communicate with.

    I was told that Best Buy Total does not provide any geek squad services for other than electronics. I decided not to continue Best Buy Total when it did away with Best Buy Total Tech. My refrigerators, freezers and washers are no longer serviced by geek squad unless I pay an enormous service fee for each visit.

    Sometimes the Geek squad protection is good but the service has decreased! Foreigners speaking that you can’t understand and if you leave them to work on your computer, you never know if it’s really fixed! Then have to call back!
