What can I say about Geek Squad that is not already known they are a much worthy service and worth every penny for what is covered it is a no hassle type of coverage for whatever it is your purchase.. I would not walk out of the store without adding this to any of my products. Every year I religeously renew my total tech support agreement and take full advantage of the many benefits Best Buy offers. I'm at 7 years straight and counting ;-)

This program has changed immensely. All the long term Geek Squad employees are no longer with this program. And you have to pay for the visits to your home on top of the annual fee. And the tech support is so-so now. Information and resolutions provided aren't always accurate. AI actually does a better job. We canceled our membership recently after being My Best Buy Total members for a very long time. Too back to see the program decline.

We have greater confidence buying from Best Buy when we have the Total membership coverage. The help desk in the store is very good (though usually busy), and people are also responsive online/via phone. We have used this service for several years now and feel it is worth the price.
