    Honestly, this membership is well worth keeping every year. It covers and all electronics. I had my daughter's laptop cleaned and fixed in Jersey with this membership and I live in New York, so yes, it can be used anyplace.

    My PC was having issues over the span of months thst were difficult to consistently replicate. Taking it in for service over and over can become expensive. This service can be great for the right scenario. I canceled after the year due to a new PC purchase, so you're going to have to gauge how often you plan to be at Geek Squad in order to determine if this is a value or not for you.

    I’ve had this membership for 5 months and I must say that the tech support is worth it. Had a few to build a computer for a nephew but was so busy during the holiday season didn’t have enough time to actually build it. So I took it to Best Buy and after 3 days it was put together with minimal issues. So I’m terms of physical support I would definitely recommend. That being said the over the phone support is atrocious. I spoke to over 4 virtual tech support agents who seemed to struggle to speak/understand English which made troubleshooting software issues impossible. The outsourced support agents were not helpful at all with one of them not even understanding that if they minimized an application it goes away. An agent actually yelled at me over the phone for closing out a program for which they didn’t know how to reopen when I had watched them minimize it. Avoid their virtual support at all costs as it is absolutely terrible however I fully support their in store geek squad support as not only did they build an entire computer for me they were able to answer any questions I had as well as give me recommendations on future upgrades. Pros: Geek squad in person support is a 10/10 Best Buy member discounts Membership benefits giving you free trials Cons Virtual tech support In conclusion. I’d say get it if you have a custom built computer as the geek squad support is fantastic. However, if you do not live near a Best Buy do not count on their virtual support.

    Super good I use geek squad with fixing my computer with the membership I can go in as many times as I need to. I also had troubles with my computer at first so buying the membership really did save me money I actually ended up saving around $200 on fees and appointments

    I've been using My Best Buy Total for the past three years, and it has more than proven its value. Thankfully, I haven’t had to use the repair services, but the savings from exclusive pricing and discounts alone have made it worth it. In fact, this year alone, I saved around $400 through My Best Buy Total benefits, which basically paid for the plan itself. The special pricing on products and services has been the biggest advantage. It feels great to know I can get top-quality items or services at a reduced cost, whether it's for a new device or accessories. For anyone who makes regular tech purchases or just wants solid backup protection for repairs and services, My Best Buy Total is definitely worth considering. The value it adds to each purchase makes it an easy decision to renew.

    Not happy with outcome on my laptop overall.

    Was (and still am) having a lot of issues with my HP laptop. Brought it in and all they did was clean it off and I had to start from scratch. It still has all the same issues it had before I brought it in for service. No answers were available as to what was wrong with it in the first place. I still have to reboot it at least once a day b/c it still freezes up with very little use. I realize this is more info about my laptop than the service, but I paid 200.00 just to reinstall everything myself and end up with the same issues.

    This membership is a great way to go. I would recommend it to anyone who hasn’t got a lot of experience with technology. I like knowing that if I have questions or concerns about my laptop, they will be there for me. The in store experience was great too!

    I purchased the Total Membership because I had several large purchases, and paying for individual protection plans for each would have cost more than the membership fee. However, to my surprise, I've received far more than just device protection! I successfully exchanged my TV twice with almost no hassle, finally getting the one I wanted. I also received a $200 price match thanks to the extended price match period included with the membership. I definitely recommend it!

    If you don’t have an annual membership with these awesome techs, when your PC takes a dive you’ll wish you had spent a little to gain a lot of peace of mind not to mention sit back and watch them in action . They are good at what they do .
