    I really don’t know what I’m paying for… one year of extending warranties that would cost far less to just pay for separately?

    I had coverage for five years. Would not recommend! I purchased quite a few things from Best Buy and during one of the purchases and additional membership was put on my account. I knew something wasn’t right, but didn’t realize what happened. So the first Membership expired and there was a new one in place. There was about five months where I had two memberships. When I needed to submit a claim, the company wouldn’t recognize what happened and my phone wasn’t covered, although it was less than one year old.

    I just recently got the runaround trying to get service for a refrigerator a little over a year. I have this protection for all the appliances I purchased from Best Buy, but now there are supposedly costs associated with any repair, from diagnosis to actual repair. Everyone gives a different price tag for that, had to file with BBB to even get attention. They do not honor their own TOA.

    It seems Best Buy changed their membership program, and they no longer fix installation issues as they have in the past. Disappointed!

    We'll see how well this works this year! Already having issues with one appliance, microwave, that we bought and our phones need repair as well. They make you use the manu. warranty the first year, which sucks because the manu. is horrible with timing!

    This membership is a waste of time and money. I regret that I have paid for this for 3 years now. Anytime I had any issues with my electronics, nothing could be done about it. I always needed more money for something extra.

    Was not a fan of being charged the annual fee without being notified until I checked my credit card balance. Didn’t use it the entire year, had an issue with windows on my laptop and geek squad was zero help. May be useful for some of you shop frequently at bestbuy.

    Through many attempts I'm nowhere close to resolving my complaint with Tech Support or ant Mgr. from instore appearance or called. Its consumers report or corporate

    They changed the perks for free installation, free delivery etc and so there’s very little value for the service now

    Anytime I try to use my total care plan, my issue is not covered and they want to charge me to come out and fix the issue. What did I pay for again?

    Went for a game repair. Tech support said they don't do it. Why am I paying 200 dollar yearly for something that doesn't work. I waited longer than the time it took him to say no.

    Geek squad is a scam. Their unprofessional customer service agent, who could not explain herself, made me cancel geek squad total protection, and now none of my appliances are covered - all of my protection plans are gone and they cannot reverse it. I HOPE YOU GO DOWN BEST BUY! Do not purchase anything from them any more. It is a scam!!!!

    Same price as years past but now with less benefits. Previously the perks were much more worthwhile ie. free mounting and installation service with any tv purchase

    They don't stand behind their plan. My Smart Ring Pro base station broke and was under warranty. The new Total Protection does NOT include installing something that was broken. When this was installed, it was covered under the OLD plan that did offer free installation. Since that plan is not offered anylonger, they would NOT honor the old plan that did cover free installation when my base station was installed.

    I would not recommend this plan. Not only you have purchase plan you have to purchase another plan after certain plan has expired and renew total tech plan. If i had understood that in the initial purchase i would have never bought it. So i now have a tv just over 2 years old and its not working. So you take peoples money and more money but now xharge to have it repaired after paying out money. So now i have spent over 5,000.00 2 years ago that items purchase will not last. Very disappointing
