I don’t think I even used this membership once, which is why I ended up canceling after 2 years .

I do not like that they changed from totalmtech to just total. I now have less things covered and I was not notified of the changes upon the yearly renewal. I did not find out until I went in to buy and new refridgerator.

Waste of money. I bought a dishwasher in May 2023. Was told if I get total tech for 2 years my warranty would be extended for those 2 years. That was not true. Don’t believe anything the sales people tell you:

Absolutely worthless. Just get the normal extended warranty. (Tried to use and was told that I had to use the manufacturer’s warranty first for the first year? So the. “Why” did I buy and pay for this?)

I was very happy initially when I first signed up for Geek squad coverage…they installed a $1800 outside security camera system … installed an eero system…but something happened a year later… geek squad refused to come out to perform repairs or replacement to the devices… I was told that Best Buy lost money and now does not cover labor for coming to the house…

Totally misled concerning this program. Thought it was like the old reward program. Offers little for the cost

I've brought the same three PCs in multiple times, two of which were purchased *AT BEST BUY* and all they've ever done is reinstall the OS which has fixed nothing. A waste of money and time.

Charging tax on a service. Not suppose to do this. Can't find my order showing what I ordered, just the total.

Total waste of money. Overpriced, most the the time to qualify you need extraoridary scenario to happen

My Best Buy total has not been worth it at all. Very few discounts on products you'll actually buy, and if you ever need something exchanged that you bought with this membership, good luck! Even if they replace it, it probably wont be the right item or color

No value to me. Wast of money would like a complete refund in store personel scarce walk riht by you and will not ask can i help you at all

Used to be good before the name change. Know you over pay for almost no benefit other than extra warranty time.

Stay away, to outsourced, paid for TV and mounting. They came and could not mount then cancelled my order without talking to me. Non existent customer service.

Not worth the membership, its very expensive and you have to proove there is a defect otherwise best buy will just say its your wifi then they dont have to cover it in my case.

I’ve paid the $179/year for 2 years now. On my one and only call to Best Buy, I bought a washer 13 months ago that is now malfunctioning, and I am told that Total Tech will not cover the washer. $360 wasted, plus a $1,000 washer that doesn’t work! Never again!

Offers 10% of what total tech offered. Downgrade to plus. The warranty you get with total has a deductible and you have 2 claims per year. Just get plus ans GS protection. Or cancel the membership all together.

Cluttered. Confusing. Cant find what you were looking for. In a word, iseless!

Wish I can get my money back for total tech worst staff spend over $100k and a simple mistake not even accommodating. Still wait. For a call back.

Totel tech is terrible. Seemingly every time i needed to use it, there was some reason why it wasnt eligible. I do not recommend.
