i was already planning on buying a warranty when my former laptop quit working because that one had so many problems within weeks of buying it, and the best buy total membership was cheaper than the one year warranty (i was buying two things) and came with a bunch of other perks

Unlimited Geek Squad on all items purchased during membership. Longer return windows are very helpful, especially when driving long distances to go into store. Very useful if you purchase a lot of items. Very expensive.
