Staffed with good knowledgable individuals. Pretty flexible on getting appointments when needed. Highly recommended for the at least the first year of ownership. Where else you going to look for computer support when needed?

Had a virus issue with my Samsung laptop. Geek Squad was very helpful in getting me the support I needed in a timely manner. Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable and polite. My only complaint is that the GS can't tune-up my Samsung Note10 smartphone that I bought from Best Buy b/c they don't have a contract with Samsung for the parts??

The total tech membership is worth investing in. The members at Geek Squad are very helpful when you need them, and the warranty protection you get when making a Best Buy purchase saves money.

Best Buy's membership programs are degrading over time. Cost more and provide less. If Best Buy didn't have the best protection plans available for purchase, we would just lump Best Buy in with everyone else. Points. For as long as they gave points for purchasing anything from Best Buy, we always checked Best Buy first. If they had it, we bought it at Best Buy. Toys, games, electronics, appliances. Heck, even reading glasses. Once that went away, so did a LOT of our business. I don't think we have bought a single major appliance at Best Buy since.

The staff has the knowledge to assist you with your computers, electronics and telephone needs. They are great and this is a great service. When you have a question or concern, they are always helpful.

This program has helped us with returns, product issues, discounts, early access. And you also get money back, which is awesome.

The membership is good if you buy something that would need protection, as you will receive 24 months protection with your Membership if you stay a member for the entire 24 months. However, some of the better benefits are no longer offered (free delivery, free installation and free haul away), which is not great. Geek Squad benefits are good.

I have been a member for 20 years since My Best Buy Total was first introduced in Beta form. It is worth the access and expert friendly help from the Geek Squad especially when you own more that one computer.

I get this renewed every year and I do recommend it as it gives you a peace of mind towards any item purchased at this store. Its worth it as it has helped me with items that have gone down hill or simply defective.
