Excellent membership with great perks. The extended protection, free installation, and member discounts make it well worth the yearly cost. It’s saved us money and made purchases much easier. Highly recommend for frequent Best Buy shoppers.

We have enjoyed this membership because of their response to Helping in the home. Also, we have taken our computers several times to have them update or help with problems that we don’t quite understand. Also, when we have a possibility of an attack or spam, we can go in and be relieved after they have gone through our computers.

This membership has a lot of perks! You usually get free add ons to most products with the membership, the best one is the protection plan. I also like it cause the return policy is better! The only thing that I don’t like is that it’s pretty costly, especially since you do a one time pay and not a monthly one. It’s not best for those who will rarely buy products from Best Buy, but if you think it’s worth it (especially for expensive products where you’ll want extra premium protection) I’d say go for it. You go some things to consider based on budget, frequency of product buys, and how much you value add ons. I might be missing some things the membership can offer, definitely do your research!

I got this membership over getting the warranty. Any device you buy at best buy will be covered.

This membership is a great service! Gives me peace of mind knowing my purchases are protected. I have had this service since 2010 on my computer and washing machine purchases from BEST BUY. Well worth the money spent for the protection

I think the membership is worth it. You get additional discounts throughout the year and I like that I have support from the geek squad in case I need it. I haven’t really used that service too much but it’s good to have it just in case.

Love the geek squad always there to answer questions when needed ! I like that I can order online and go pick up at the store!

I purchased Best Buy Total in November 2025 and have used it 3 times in 2 months. Geek Squad helped me understand my new computer programs. It's great to know that if I have a question, I can ask them for help.

I love my Best Buy Membership. When I need help, they are there. I get good prices when I need them. I don't have to worry about anything electric or electronic, they have it!!

I dropped an item off very impressed with customer service and the yearly membership fee seems completely reasonable. I only give it three stars because now that my device is done and it’s scheduled to pick up. There’s only one appointment per day for pick up and it’s in the middle of the day you can’t just go in and pick up your device whenever it’s done you have to make an appointment to talk with an agent while you’re there. It’s very frustrating. I’ve had to reschedule it four times other than that great investment.

I had a major problem with my computer (virus related). When I went to the Geek Squad, they advised me it could be fixed for about $200.00, and I approved the repair. But then, the technician advised me about your maintenance program that costs less INCLUDING the repair saving me over $50.00, and now I have sound mind that I have a maintenance program in place. Very pleased with service.

The membership has already paid for itself. I had several issues. I visited the geek squad several times over the span of five days. They were extremely helpful and resolved all of my issues. The geek squad was helpful in selecting a new computer since my old one was outdated and needed serious updates which my old computer could not handle.

I am glad I got the Total Best Buy protection plan. It is peace of mind when I bought my laptop

Im not a gamer player, I went to the store and a sales team help me doing the order. I heard it is a goid pc desktop. I like Best Buy because there's always there to assist me with the things that I had in mind. This is a Christmas present very soon I will find out.

If you're living in a smart home or you have plenty of old tech, I'd recommend Total. The have discounts on repairs, and 2 yrs protection for anything you buy with them. Worth the investment to protect your tech.
