The membership pays for itself if you shop at Best buy often. Free shipping, tech support, and protection plabs are very helpful. The 24/7 tech support and included extended warranty coverage are great perks as wekk as free shipping, which saves money and time. It is so worth it if you buy electronics often, but if you don't, you may not use all of the benefits.

I have been super-pleased with my best buy membership on items purchased, installations, access to geek squad by phone or in-person, etc. Today was my first disappointment when my induction cooktop was delivered and installation refused because they didn't want liability for removing existing gas cooktop. we had had electrical capacity installed which was only requirement that had been communicated from prior geek squad on-site visit. The gentlemen delivering refused to take out the current gas unit.

Best Buy is a very professional, supportive and reliable organization. I have never been disappointed with a purchase and the support received by the knowledgable employees and when needed the Geek Squad has been great.

This membership saved us at least $40 dollars already this year. A Geek Squad staff member helped us set up our new computer and transfer our old files from the old computer to the brand new one. So far, a great investment. They transferred all my data from old laptop to new one perfectly. Then about a week later, I had trouble with a software installation and they fixed it free of charge as part of the agreement in about 10 minutes. Great service tech, very friendly and competent.

My new Whirlpool dryer was defective and didn't dry even one load after delivery and installation. GEEK technician was scheduled in a few days and said repair costs were extensive and recommended replacement. I was required to pay an additional $80 for an upgrade to a boxed machine. Delivery of new machine will be in another week. My membership is fantastic. I think.
