I am always skeptical of extended warranties and special extended service programs, but we purchased this one and it paid off. We added Total Tech when we purchased a new dishwasher. It meant we could get the installation for free essentially and have the benefits of Total Tech for the next year. Best Buy stopped selling physical media, so the free shipping benefit was negated after some months of signing up, but it paid off when we had a problem with our old refrigerator, which we did not purchase under the program, nor did we purchase it at Best Buy. Still, we were able to file a service ticket and the tech was local and amazingly friendly, knowledgeable, and pleasant to have in our home. He took care of the issue and we were thrilled. We did not need a new refrigerator and it cost us nothing out of pocket for the service under Total Tech. Now, I do recommend it, but I see Best Buy changed what is covered once again. I wish they would keep a good thing going. It's difficult to recommend something or even keep your membership with it when you have to always review what has changed, espeically when it's more likely that you lose benefits over time rather than gain some nowadays. Oh, well.

Signed up for this when I bought a new computer which was not on sale at the time. Don’t usually buy add-ons like this but the salesman said if the price of the computer dropped within 60 days, this membership would give me the sale price. Sure enough the next month this model went on sale and I saved $300.

This membership is a great value will help with all your needs u can just take any of your household computers in and it’s all cover u just have to pay for the parts which saves u 100s of dollars all around great deal.
